Celebrating Father’s Day at Ash Lodge with Live Music and Wonderful Memories
There is nothing quite like the power of live music to bring people together, and that is exactly what happened here at Ash Lodge Nursing Home this Father’s Day. We wanted to make sure all the dads, grandads, and remarkable men in our home felt thoroughly celebrated, and the afternoon turned out to be incredibly special.
To help us mark the occasion, we were delighted to welcome the brilliant Halley Louise to Ash Lodge. She treated our residents, families, and staff to a fantastic performance, singing a selection of classic, lovely songs that instantly filled the room with energy.
Before long, everyone was tapping their feet, clapping along, and singing at the top of their voices. Music has a wonderful way of unlocking old memories, and it was beautiful to see our residents reminiscing and sharing stories of their own fathers, their youth, and days gone by.
Days like this remind us how important it is to pause, celebrate, and create new moments together. A massive thank you to Halley Louise for sharing her incredible talent with us and making the day so memorable for everyone here in Smethwick.
