Everyone is Unique

Maximum level of Care

Live with Dignity

We recognise and promote each individual’s privacy, dignity, lifestyle preferences, right to make choices and the right to participate in their own care.

Each Resident is Individual

We focus on each resident as an individual and strive to meet physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs in a non-discriminatory setting.

Maximum level of Care

We strive to promote the maximum level of health, independence, coping skills, self-confidence, self-esteem, community and family involvement for everyone in our care.

Ageing is not a Limitation

We believe that ageing is a natural and normal life process. Age does not limit or change a person’s right to experience life to it’s fullest through self-determination.

Everyone is Unique

All individuals are unique and have the right to participate in decisions affecting their welfare and future.

We believe in our Team

We are dedicated to maximising job satisfaction and the knowledge of our team through appropriate induction, on-going training and recognition. After all, it is them on whom we depend to achieve an optimum quality of life for our residents.

Purpose Built Home

Ash Lodge was purpose built in 1997 to provide quality care to our residents in quality and homely surroundings.

24/7 Peace of Mind

Our aim is to provide the freedom of home and more choice for social interaction whilst feeling assured that our residents will receive 24-hour quality care, 365 days a year. We also offer our support and advice to all the family.

Feels Like Home

We encourage our residents to bring along their personal items in order to make their rooms a “home away from home”. Mealtimes are a social occasion at Ash Lodge and we cater for special diets such as diabetic, soft food, Asian, Afro- Caribbean or vegetarians.

Peace of Mind

As a family, the last thing we wanted was to have to have mom put into care, however being lucky enough to have found mom a place at Ash Lodge has removed all the pressure and guilt of not being able to care for her in her own home with dad. The quality of care and service coupled with amazing staff at all levels means that we know mom is safe, well cared for, and wants for nothing, most importantly giving my dad peace of mind.

Just Fantastic

Ash Lodge Nursing Home is the best care home I’ve ever known, My father is in there and they give him the best care, The service users do there very best to keep their residents happy and very comfortable. My father is so happy there and the staff are amazing I’d strongly recommend it to anyone, just fantastic xxx

Dignity & TLC

From the moment we walked into we knew it was the provider we wanted to Mom. Staff were courteous, friendly and very professional. This wasn’t an act for our initial visit, it continued for the time Mom spent in care.
All I really wanted for Mom was care, dignity and some TLC. Ash Lodge staff had the knack of being part of the extended family but knew when to step back. We can’t thank them enough for what they did for Mom in the last year of her life.

    Visiting Ash Lodge Care Home?

    Here’s some useful information.

Restrictions are around LFT testing, most of our visitors are now testing at home before arrival to Ash lodge, test results are required to be registered and test results shown to member of staff before entry. All other LFT testing is conducted in a POD and overseen by a qualified member or staff, POD visits are by appointment only. We ask a maximum of 3 persons per resident to enable staff to accommodate space, numbers can be increased with notice to Ash Lodge Care Home.

Given notice, we could accommodate overnight stay.

    Children are able to visit.
Note: If over 12yrs they will need to do a LFT test.

Visitors are currently visiting in the Residents bedrooms, visitors are not restricted to the length of time for their visit.

We use a document called “This is Me” this is completed with the activity team and gives you an insight of each Residents life experiences.

Residents / Families are very much involved in the care planning, every care plan is individual to each Resident.
